Professor Mick Keough is a marine ecologist and bio-statistics expert who recently retired from a full-time academic appointment at the University of Melbourne, where he remains an honorary professor. He has previous experience at Florida State University and the University of California, Santa Barbara.
At the University of Melbourne, he led a large research group and taught environmental science and marine ecology.
He is a highly-cited researcher with experience designing and analysing marine ecological experiments in southern Australia, California and Florida. He has experience with a range of marine invertebrate groups, including invasive species, algae, seagrasses, and fish.
